Roof motor RelocationQuestions

I'm relocating my roof motor/pump to the boot. I've read all of the "how to" write ups and many, many, (maybe to many  ) forum posts and the one thing I've yet to find is how the hydraulic lines routed? I've seen several different ways to drill holes to get the lines to the boot but no pictures of how the lines are run from the hinges. Do they just lay on top of the funnel? If so, is there any worry of the top damaging them? If anybody has in pictures of how the lines are routed across the funnel it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you read this guide? Tells you everything you need to know. I cut a small section out of the tray to feed the hoses through. I did tape up the edge and wrap foam around the hoses to prevent abrasion.

I did. I understand where to drill the hole to get the lines into the boot but do the lines just lay on top of the plastic funnel From that hole to the hinges?
