Roof Motor and BMW are complete C*nts

Anyone know where I can the roof motor done at the best rate in the North West?

Had one fitted last year by a BMW dealer and it's already failed on me. Even though it has a 2 year warranty BMW won't honour it because 'water damage' is an acceptable fault on BMW's. I'm absolutely gutted, especially having paid out £170 for an hours labour only for them to say they won't cover it.

Better still some pikey twats have smashed off my door handle trying to break in so I'm currently accessing the car via the passengers seat. I've treated the car too well to be dealt this ridiculous amount of bad luck.

Fuming, deflated and completely fallen out with the car and BMW as a brand. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

^ try this. Also ask for a copy of the parts warranty and its exclusions. Did they tell you it was warrantied for 2 years when you had the work done?
Did you pay for them to inspect it and then they say it wasn't covered?

Tried to contact BMW UK and it seems like it's not been done legitimately, the invoice wasn't charged with labour costs and the invoice has been filled out with the invoice address and customer address as 'Paul In Workshop'... Sounds dodgy doesn't it?

They do a fitting service here also , its in Bradford & the guy is a genuine fella :thumbsup: http://roofmotors.co.uk/cash-back

If i was closer mate i would come round, sort your motor out, and install it in the boot for you for next to nowt! Then see if we could find them pikeys and sort them out as well! :evil:

I also completely agree with what you call BMW. Cant stand the robbing BAST**DS. The cars are without doubt the best though. :thumbsup:

you make it sound like an easy job?

Hi Taz, yup, it is quite easy. If PGardner93 was to buy a recon motor from the address in Mr Wilks' post then he could save a lot of money and future probs with his roof.

I really wish i was closer, i could offer him a service which would cost him less than what BMW (Bring More Wonga :lol: ) charged him for a hours labour, to tell him the bad news.

I have done a few now, please have a look;
