Roof malfunction warning but all working perfectly

Hi,

I have some problems with my Z.

Sometimes I have a roof malfunction warning, or roof not latched. It appears on the idrive and disappear after 1 or 2 seconds... No code stored in ECU, all is working well apart this warning.

I'm sure that it is a sensor... But which one ?

The warning appears with the roof open or closed...

Please give me some help

More info please, describe exactly the procedure and the errors, is it on closing and opening or just one for starters.
It would make sense that it is the micro switch in the top of the windscreen that gives the 'roof latched' signal..

The warning doesn't come when moving the roof, but only when it is fully open and locked or fully closed and locked.

The warning comes and disappear at any moments without any reason. Sometimes 2 times a day, some other 1 time a week...

Two different warnings :
- roof malfunction
- roof not locked

Very strange...
