Roof Lining

Hi all

Has anybody got a guide on how to tighten the roof lining on the e85? When my roof retracts it rubs against the roll bars and the first panel infront of the rear widow rubs against the bulk head catch leaving a mark on the roof lining.

I think this is a fairly common problem mine rubs and there is a small tear on the offside linning on mine not sure how it could be overcome

Hmmm there must be a way of tightening it all up, my old MR2 had straps that had to be tightened in the roof skin. Must be possible i hope.

Does it sag at all when closed? There are several plastic ties that connect the inner fabric to the frame and are quite fragile.
Aside those I know of no adjustment
Mine is well fitted and still just brushes the hoop on drivers side

It does look fitted ok, the brushing of the roll hoops isnt to concerning but i dont understand why it catches against the bulk head catch which marks the lining.

Something you have to live with I'm afraid, my last Z4 did I it and so does this one.
I also had a tear on the offside too, bit of black thread and all sorted, not noticeable.
