roof latching noise

Hi, have noticed a what is best described as a whizzing noise at the latch when the roof closes, sounds more like it's on the passenger side, only happened a few times. Does the latch have a slipping clutch if so it could be getting worn? the roof does close ok every time.
Had the boot unit replaced at the dealers in January then only tested it and as it was cold weather did not use the roof again until June and then my wife had a back problem so hired a saloon for a few weeks only using the Z yesterday and dropped the top and when I put it back up it got the noise again and thought oh it hasn't gone away.

Hi all , update, tried the roof today again and realised the noise is coming from the boot hydraulics just as the roof closes. Tried it two more times and the noise got less. will try it again tomorrow so the question is why the hydraulic noise? believe the hydraulic unit is self bleeding so should not be air causing the noise.
