roof / hood bubbling in the corner

while cleaning the car I worringly come across this:



Can this be easily sorted? The car is under BMW extended warranty but doubt it would be covered.. car is 2010 E89

I had heard that the roof isn’t covered by the anti corrosion wty as it’s not considered part of the car

I seem to remember something about it some time ago, might be worth a search on here.

Pastry had a problem with his roof rusting or what ever Ali does. His 1st dealer wasn't interested so he took his car to another dealer and I'm sure they exchanged to roof panel.
