Roof fault and it's - my fault - help!

Hi,

Just bought a z4 convertible and like a donut left the drivers window down last night - as you can imagine the car was very damp this morning! This evening after work one of my colleagues was looking at the car and tried to lower the roof - which didn't come down!

Which I am guessing is a result of my stupidity - any advise?? it's an 03 model!!

Hi,

can't see it being anything to do with you leaving the window open, the motor is behind the n/s door piller.

What light do you have on the switch...red or amber ! If it's amber check that your parcel shelf is down in the boot , If it's red it's more serious !! good luck !
