Roof check on dealer Inspection?

Guys,

Given the issues with drainage and roof motor damage I would have expected this to be part of an inspection check.

Does anyone know if the drainage area under the hood and motor are checked under either of the inspections? If not I may request that BMW check, clean and drain it the next time its in for an inspection.

I believe the drain holes should be cleaned as part of the Inspection 2 service, however I doubt that many do get cleaned!

Hmm in that case I'll make a point of asking to see the work schedule next time its in for an Insp2 to verify its been done, thanks mate.

I'd be tempted to clean them off myself every year... only takes 10 mins per side with a trolley jack.

When i swapped my wheels over i checked over my drainage holes and the passenger side was fine, but the drivers was nearly blocked.. no idea how rain water even passes through it.

This was a case with my house, when I was looking for a house in Torrance. I hired certified Torrance home inspection service that cleaned up holes under motor as a part of their services.
