Rolling Road Result

I recently attended a Rolling Road day organised on another forum I post on. I ran my '08 3.0Si Coupe and the result was...

The power output is pretty much bang on stock power which is nice to see. I wasn't so sure about the torque curve though. Peak torque kicks in quite soon (under 3000rpm) but the curve rises and falls by quite a bit. Should it not be a bit more steady than that?

Thanks :)

I think it is usually pretty lumpy like that TBH.

we have a 33% drive train loss??????

If we have 257hp in from the engine... and acording to the dyno, it says "wheel power = 172hp"... thats a 33% drive train loss.... From what i've seen, drive train loss should be any where around 14% to 18% on most cars with AWD cars being on the higher side of the scale

I had a SRT6 Crossfire which is basically a SLK32 AMG, Its came with 330hp to the crank (Engine) and i put down 290hp to the wheels which was only a 12% drive train loss... the car was 100% stock.

I don't know how much i believe those "wheel power" numbers

What brand of rolling road/dyno was this? DynoJet? Mustang Dyno? I don't know what is available over seas
