Hi All

Does anyone have the procedure to remove this part?

It is in the truck and holds the carpet in place. In the center of it there is the microswitch of the convertible top.
in pic2 it is part number 4 and it is called the BMW OEM 03-08 Z4 Roll Bar-Upper Trim 51437110231.

I need to get the carpet out. I think there was a chipmunk living in there when the car was in storage.

And BTW my top won't go down not even when in manual mode. I think the bypass value is locked in the motor.

Well look easier with the pic you sent. However, do you have the other two procedures regarding the "convertible top compartment base and the "trim behind roll bar" much appreciated. And you have yourself a Happy Fathers day this weekend. It would be nice if I was able to get my top down this weekend for a spin but that another issue.
