Rogue Engineering rear top mounts question

Has anyone got these fitted - and if so, any issues with rattles, clunks or extra harshness?

Reason I'm asking is because I've just pulled the trigger on a set of Koni yellow adjustables and am wondering whether it's better to upgrade to a set of the RE tm's because the inverted design will make any future adjustment to the rear shocks easier.

However, if they make the ride worse or rattle 2 months after fitting, I'd rather refit a set of OEM mounts. So, are they worth the extra outlay?

Thanks Gazza - any noticeable change in ride quality? I believe the mounts use harder rubber - does it increase noise or ride harshness?

I ran them on my ZMC with Eibachs and standard struts and couldn't get them to shut up so took them off.

I've recently upgraded to KW V3s and put them back on and they've been fine, so only assume it was a torquing issue before with the top nuts.

I (very) occasionally get a tiny bit of noise which sounds like the bottom of the top nut 'clicking' against the big metal washer when the rear is compressed quickly. Again, probably a torquing issue. I suspect that tightening them up too much is almost as bad as as having them too loose.

No denying that they are a well built bit of kit.

I have them on my Zed, but it’s hard to comment on their contribution to NVH since a combination of KW Clubsports and VT Competition engine mounts transmits a fair amount of noise into the cabin anyway.

No change at all, standard suspension.

Sometimes when reversing off the drive I get what sounds like a chirp but then nothing.

Running RE top mounts, Eibachs & B6’s on my MC

My suggestion is to invest in a Gruppe, even if they do make a noise, you’ll never have a chance of hearing it
