when it arrives, maybe you can review for us regarding quality etc? Cheers
Well, I just returned from a week on the road with these bags and you can color me very happy.
Fit in the car is excellent. If you overstuff the bags, you have to press firmly on the partition to latch it into place. If you pack less aggressively, then the partition settles into place easily with virtually no wasted space between it and the bags.
Given what I paid, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the bags are constructed. They aren't "fancy". Instead, the materials used are thick, beefy, and feel very sturdy. Build quality is excellent - I can't find any flaws. It seems like these will last a long time (certainly longer than the time it will take for an irresistible next gen Z4 with different storage spaces to appear

)
There are some trade-offs because of the shape requirements. The flat soft bag that fills the "well" has very little space in it. I used it for a beach towel and a couple of bathing suits and it was stuffed. The deep but narrow shape of the other two bags means you may need to rethink your folding and packing strategy a little. As does the intrusion into the interior by the extending handle, which produces two hard bumps running the length of the interior, making awkward to lay hard objects on the "floor" of the case. I found that it was best to fill in around these bumps with smaller soft item (such as socks) before starting to pack larger items or hard items. But these minor inconveniences are easily dealt with and don't put a serious dent in the utility, practicality, and value of these bags.
The purchase process from Koffer24.de was painless - they communicated with me throughout the process, and delivered earlier than initially promised. I have no regrets regarding this purchase and have no qualms recommending these bags to anyone looking for an easy way to get the most out of the Z4's rear storage area.
