Roadster Solutions Wind Deflector Piccies :o)

Hi all,

Thought I would share some piccies of the Roadster Solutions wind deflector fitted today :) The perspex is held in place by a pair of rubberised brackets held in position with 3M tape. I was a little dubious regarding this but after doing some searching of other owners fitting this deflector it seems upto the job and remains firm at speed. Install took 15 minutes, just making sure you clean the hoops thoroughly before attaching the brackets and doing it on a warm day 70F or above :) Just need a steady hand to align each bracket and putting firm pressure for 30 secs or so. Was surprised how firm they are now. The perspex is a tightish fit which pushes down and locks into place, with it being a tight fit it helps keeping pressure on the brackets against the hoops.

Very pleased with the looks as errs on the side of an OEM install but after a drive well upto 40mph for the moment I can honestly say it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to inside the cabin, :o haven't tried with the windows up at higher speeds so might be an improvement there :)

A few pics :)

Cheers,

Tim.

I think the problem is the aerial...get a stubby and it all works together!!!!!

There is NO WAY you would've said that on BabyBMW.net!!!! (Bushy has been banned!).

Really? banned for what?

All seriousness I do have a Peugeot stubby I had on the 1 Series but the Zeds aeriel won't unscrew by hand as on too tight, could be a good thing but not brave enough to get the pliars on it at the mo :o
