Roadster fiend yet to become aquainted with his Z4

Hello all. I'm new here. I have been a keen roadster fan / owner for some time. I have satisfied that craving for the last 7 or 8 years with various forms of Mk 1 MX5's. My current 5 I have completed a turbo conversion on it now puts out a respectable 202 whp @ 10psi.
I am now looking for something a little more "substantial" From my days as an R33 gtst owner I am very fond of the straight 6 engine, this makes 3.0 ltr Z4 a perfect solution.
So I'm here as part of my research and learning with a view to buying a good example in the not too distant future.
Looking forward to making new acquaintance s and learning lots. Some reading on all the various options, variants & guides would be very helpful.

If you post up what you want (such as you indicate 6 cyl) your budget, location or distance to travel and any must have's and the guys will find you a car to match.

Lots for sale on the forum and many are known cars, so a good place to start.

I guess a lot depends upon your budget?
8k - 10k will get you a nice 3.0si facelift 6 cylinder roadster on a 2006 to 08 plate, pushing out 265 bhp (make sure you get the M sports seats). As usual, price will depend on condition, mileage and spec. I'd keep an eye on the market place here if you are happy to buy privately.

You could do a lot worse than looking at those for sale on this forum - the chances are it will have been maintained and cherished by an enthusiastic owner.

It will be a couple of months probably before I'm ready to buy. But I'm looking for a 3.0 ltr ( poss a 2.5si) pref with sports seats, manual box at the £5k Mark.
