The OP now closed by the mods
It was never the greatest looking Z but i applaud the tenacity needed to get it where it was :?
Shame the final curtain came down before the paint was applied :|

What, what, what . . . .anyone been in contact with the lad?

I still hold out hope that it'll get finished and on display. . . .

(Think the mods were right to close the OP though - it was getting a little offensive)

:driving:

I'm sure a new thread will appear once the weather warms up and son-of-Marmite comes to life

Why not just edit the squabbling comments and leave the thread running for Brad to update when he could.?

Failing that can i have my £20 back please ?

Thats 5 pints and a nice kebab on the way home..

That's a shame I did enjoy seeing the updates, not my cup of tea but I could appreciate the time and effort that was put into the car. Hopefully a new thread will appear

+1

That is a real shame. I thought that the Marmite thread exemplified all that is good about the Forum. It was prone to going massively off-topic, mostly in an amusing way, and eventually meandered back to the "serious" business of the project itself.

Unfortunately, as in real life, some comments ranged from being unhelpful to being downright offensive, but it is a pity that that the few offenders can spoil it for all.

Whilst never having any envy for the the creation out of the Marmite Project, I wish the OP of that thread all the success and luck he needs to bring it to a successful conclusion, and do hope that he creates a new thread once progress recommences.

A thread which showed the best and worst of this forum. The members putting their hands in their pockets to help out when needed, to an absolute dick who I would be very happy never to hear from again

Please no. The last one was quite enough.
Just because the thread's there, OG, you're under no obligation to read it - or is it like one of those TV programs about benefit scroungers that you cant help but watch even though you know it's going to boil your piss? :P
