I just read about his passing away late last night.

A true rally legend - RIP Paddy.

I remember watching him drive his mini in the the RAC rally during the night in Dolby Forest. Those were the days Iain. Up all night watching the rally then straight to work without any sleep. Somehow I don’t think I could manage that now.

A great shame but what a life to have lead . I remember when you couldn`t go into a local motorist store without seeing loads of Paddy Hopkirk named parts .

Yes and sadly my wife didn’t now who he was  She thought I meant Paddy Kirk from Emerdale :headbang:

I still have a pair of circa 1982 Paddy Hopkirk Axle Stands in my garage. Very tatty now but can't bring myself to throw them out.
Thanks Paddy, R.I.P :thumbsup:20220723_110314.jpg
