What I remember most about Eddie Jordan was that Damon Hill retired a healthy car (Jordan) in his final F1 race and Eddie did not say that was the worst thing any racing driver could do. That comment was left to a commentator. I was surprised that Eddie did not react in a similar way. A character he was, but he did lack judgement. It was a shock to know that he wore a wig. Gone now, so no RIP s**t. That comment is for the living. How is he going to know that anyone said that. Eddie might have said that himself. I shall miss him.

Great character and the sport will miss him. I named my second son after him (Jordan) as I was watching the Canadian Grand Prix in 1997 when we had to rush to the hospital (not at Grand Prix speeds but not hanging around either). Fisichella was doing well at the time so the name stuck in my mind.
