A sad day for motorsport.

A truly horrific pileup that serves to demonstrate how much risk is involved with every split second decision.

very sad, he leaves behind a wife, a 2 year old and 7 month old child. :( :(

Very very sad :(

I've just watched a video of it - damn scary and not something I'm likely to watch again - but what I find worrying is how many of the cars burst into flames. That (to me at least) indicates something needs improved regarding safety...

I hope that safety measures similar to those seen in the aftermath of the 1994 Senna crash in F1 will be forthcoming for Indy Cars.

Tragic loss

Give it one big Health & Safety claim & watch those Le Mans safety features make it over to the Colonies.
For those that saw 2 of the 3 AUDI cars crash out of Le Mans & the drivers walk away alive, you know just how good things can be... if u have the money & technology.
I hope the one good thing that will come out of this is not only a serious safety review but also it's findings implemented,

RIP fella, despite what you left behind least you went in a way that you loved

I've been a motorsport fan since I was in my teens and I can't recall ever seeing such a catastrophic tragedy.

A sad say for motorsport... :(
