Rinspeed sQuba Car Can Actually Swim On Water, Underwater

This has got to be one of the craziest cars that Rinspeed has ever created, because not only can the sQuba concept car compete on dry land, it can actually drive on water, as well as underwater. Yes, you read that correctly and this apparently is no joke.

The black tie outfit looks just about right for scuba driving. Same thing I always wear for diving of course

They need to send this back for some better programming - it's nice that it can come meet the driver from it's parking space but the car lost it's way and drove down the wrong side of the road to get there.......

What really amazed me is that they managed to do this with almost no exterior modifications apart from those jets on the front wings and the propellers (obviously). Still it's quite a sight right?

It IMO is the water part of it that makes you want the coupe

Well they said that if they made it a coupe they'd have to make it weigh 2 tons more because of all the extra buoyancy that the air in the cabin would cause... I think the onboard breathing apparatus is a slick alternative but it wont give you the complete 007 look.

The coupe really wouldn't have the same effect for impressing other divers with your black tie apparel while cruising through the local lagoon too.
