Ring trip 6th-8th Aug

Hi all

I'm off to the ring on the 6th-8th of Aug,

Anybody else going?

Been once before, but would like to meet up and glean any info I can from the more experinced ring gurus

I will be there also :) DTM dont know yet if i will go the 07 august but the 8 for sure it is going to be crzy :fuelfire:

I've just been on the 19th. I have one useful piece of info.

You can't buy anything in the cafe with cash or credit cards. you have to fill up one of these stupid "ring cards" (from another card / cash) in the entrance of the cafe. Only multpiles of €5 allowed, so now after buying lunch on the one day I was there, I have €1.20 that's going to expire in 12months.

Stupid bloody system, loads of the busineses in the area are in it. The poor woman at the cafe till spent almost as much time trying to explain why they didn't take cash as she did serving burgers.
 
All businesses linked to the nurburgring use the card system, and you can cash the card in at any time. The money doesn't expire at the end of the year, only that put on as laps expires.

Card loading and money back booths are dotted about the nurburgring centre's

I was told that the credit on the card expires after a year. No-one said that you could cash it in, handy to know.
 
Hi Adam, I'll be there, look out for my Zed with a bright pink/purple flip paint MINI :D
 
I'm out here now until the 10th, not lapping in the Z4MC though (renting instead), but look out for the car in the carpark and generally floating around!
