I decided not to buy a Mk 10 way back when. Very tempted though as it was a RHD manual gearbox tricarb car. We mostly saw autos over here - not sure than any manual trans Mk 10s made it here. Plus the manual wasn't the old Moss box, it was the newer nice one.
It was a bit of a heavy pig, though. My Mk 9 weighed 3950 lb. and although a upright aerodynamic disaster, still topped out at 115 mph (by actual personal test as well as road test results). The Mk X weighed about the same and had a similar top speed (despite having more power) but better acceleration figures given that the Mk 9 was afflicted with the BW slushbox.
