Rheingold ISTA setup

Anyone got any pointers on getting this going?

PDF says to modify obd.ini file but there isn't one in the Ediabas/bin folder.

I changed the Ediabas.ini from:

Interface = REMOTE

to

Interface = STD:ODB


My K+DCAN usb cable is sitting on Com1. Tried setting to Com9 too.

In INSTA I get this error:

IFH-0027: IFH NOT FOUND


Not sure what to try next?

Any advice welcome!

Have you tried setting it to STD:OMITEC you will need the omitec drivers for this to work though. Not sure it’s compatible with that specific cable but it works for me

Have you tried searching all files for Ediabas.ini in case it's somewhere else?

Not a daft question as I have two other Ediabas installs from putting DIS and INPA on this machine, so I will rename those folders to make sure....

I also noticed that in Ediabas.ini there are paths to the older installs...
