Reversing the SMG paddles

Hi all. I'd really like the paddles on the SMG to work with the left paddle pull to drop down a gear rather than them both working the same (like the M3).

Surely it is a simple microswitch in the paddle that just needs reversing?

Has anyone tried it?

Probably a matter of re-wiring. WDS may give a clue. Note the only difference between up and down is the presence of a resistor.
