If they're just simple switches some random buttons would be fun for testing purposes!

Momentary switches to ground is all you need.
I recall testing the box by tapping alternate wires on an earthed bolthead
The possibilities are endless! Mike, just Duck tape some pushbuttons to the wheel and get some photos!
