Retrofitting cruise on an M

Has anyone done it? I've read through the (helpful!) thread that refers to non-Ms (with tired eyes) and I'm wondering it anyone's done it on the M? If so, is it much more difficult?

yes more difficult, Andy and a few others have had it fitted, but all by indi's

would like to fit to mine but want to do myself. Don't think it can be that hard, just need access to a ///M that has had it retrofitted for an hour or two.

Hello there Spud - hope the car is exceeding expectations. :)

Lots of information about retrofitting cruise to Ms in this here thread:

http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=25063

It has been done successfully, but sounds like an indy job rather than a DIY.

Apart from factory-fitted satnav ( :( ), my car came with most of the other options and the cruise control is the one I'm most pleased to have. I received points and a fine for doing 34 in a 30 in my previous car several years ago, and think the cruise control is great for minimising the risk of a repeat performance when driving on the more tightly controlled roads.

Hi Spud, there's a company near Newcastle, south/north shields that can retrofit for you, I'm sure I've seen the thread on here, good luck and if you have it done let us know how you got on, it's a mod I would have done too in the new year :)

Sorry AngusMcCoatup, should have read your comments before sticking my oar in!! The company I was thinking of is Prestige!! :D
