In the description of my cruise control video is a link to the pdf of how to do it. In that pdf is a link to the software and updates etc (all free and legit)r1george said:Hi Dave,
Just had a quick look at your youtube channel and I recognise you. I bought my White with red leather 2010 Z4 30i a while back for you to fit cruise control for me.
I've since bought my latest 28i 2016 which again didn't have cruise so I went ahead and fitted it myself, all fitted perfect and followed a youtube video but it didn't work, I also found your video but I don't have your software unfortunately
r1george said:Hi Dave,
I now have both mirrors and the correct switch based on the ebay listing you provided. You mentioned that the drivers door was plug and play but there was wiring to do in the passenger door and that you had details of what to do, I'd be very happy if you could share this information with me.
Also I've looked at the information regarding the software and it may be beyond my computer skills to download it let allown program the car
Would you consider sorting the coding for me for both the mirrors and the cruise if I have already fitted them and maybe show me how to download the software if I bring my laptop ?

These are the cheapest ones on eBay at the moment. These parts are very reasonably priced, so you'll notice that I'm not even including my own that's for sale!
I'll sort the wiring diagrams for you and post them up, as well as the coding procedure![]()

PM sentr1george said:Hi Dave,
When do you think you would be available to code the cruise control and the mirrors on my E89
The cruise is already fitted so hopefully that's just a case of coding and the mirrors need wiring up so won't work but just wanted them to be coded for when I get round to doing the wiring.
So no physical work as such just coding.
Hope this makes sense
Cheers Carl

I'm looking at doing the folding door mirrors, I'm ok with getting the parts, just need to know what wiring is needed to be done on passenger side, and what coding is involved
Many thanks

Not on an E89, no extra module as it's controlled via the footwell module.skmattwell said:Steham said:Hi,

Which model do you have? If you have an early one like mine (2003) some of the wiring might already be in place. I just needed to install the control module into the existing plug behind the glovebox and install the new driver side switch that has the fold button
You have a PMSteham said:Hi Dave,
I'd be grateful of any wiring info and coding info you maybe have on retrofit folding wing mirrors.
Many thanks
