Retrofit Parking Sensors

I was quoted £1000 for the idrive integrated front/rear option... (therefore didn't do it). I save money by parking slowly and looking.

Does the price inlude a new front and rear bumper?

I think they can drill holes in the existing bumpers

Nope £1000 means drilling, painting the sensors (perhaps), install of the unit, coding, whatever else... not paying that, I'd consider it if it cost £300-£400 maybe (maybe!)... No forget that, I wouldn't even pay that for beeps and a picture of a car on the iDrive!

Lol anyone looked into the ultrasonic ones you fit to the inside of bumpers ?

Our new car turned up without front sensors and we made them put them on it as we had been told they would be front and rear.

They told us it would be about 1k trying to make us contribute but on that part of the deal we one.

Took them a day to fit the new sensors and they did a good job.

You one? Do you mean 'Won'?

The only option on the new Z4 (e89) is to have front and rear sensors... :?

I personally love the graphic you get on the iDrive display.

I looked at getting Bluetooth retrofitted to an E9x 3 series company shed, I didn't bother giving the £1300 quote to the fleet manager!

Wished I'd specced front and rear sensors as had them on the 1 Series, going too have to brave trying too see if the Zed will fit in the garage soon :o so would have been useful.

Only thing I didn't like about them is I preferred the cleaner look on the bumper :)

Tim.
