Retrofit of options???

Hi All,

I am scouring the ads for the Z4C that fits what I am after.. However, it would be really good to know how easily some options can be retrofitted, allowing more flexibility in choice:

1. Piano black dash and console trim - I really like this, and not keen on the brushed aluminium finish. Is this easy to source and replace?
2. Heated seats - Tough? I can imagine it is! (buttons in the panel, elements in the seat, looms etc)
3. Xenons - Read some posts here. I know there are some aftermarket HID options, and replacement with full new lights. All seems quite expensive (other than third party HID system)
4. Bluetooth etc - I assume there are several options for phone kits in this manner

Anything else I am missing that is a pretty simple retrofit????

1. I have changed brushed Ali for Carbon Fibre Leather, easy to do but time consuming, 1/2 a day to fit.
2. At least two forum member have done this
3. OEM very, very expensive, aftermarket best option but not liked by many.
4. Fairly easy to do again a few member have done this, and I have a complete OEM retrofit waiting for me or to sell at some point.

You can also retrofit SatNav, just cutting the hole in the dash is a bit nail bitting.

I am interested to know how much hassle it is to swap the dash/trim bits (rather than cover. I assume it would be cheaper to get some Carbon etc film and 'wrap' the parts)..

As for the heated seats, also very interested in the cost/hassle factor. I am a huge fan of heated seats on longer commutes and typically british weather, with leather..

I'm also interested in these I got a cheap little 3.0 with some good standard options, just retrofitted cruise control with ease for £56 and am buying hid kit off eBay for £75 (this is a smaller ballast kit, which is the easiest way to fit)

interested to know what else is next!
 
A few on here have now covered the trim, it's not a difficult task, but removing all the interior trim is time consuming the first time as you need to be careful not to break or damage anything.

It depend on what finsih you are after, but carbon fibre film or even carbon firbe leather sheets are available for wrapping or you could get you panels dip printed or painted gloos black or even body colour although not a fan of the last option.
