Retrofit cruise control question(s)

I'm now concerned about handing all this info. over to my Indy and it making sense :cry:
Is there anyone who has used an Indy or Auto-electrician to fit this to an N52 (facelift) Zed so that I can give the job to someone who's done it before?
 
Come to me - I'll make you do all the work though :lol:

It's really not that hard though, just fiddly taking off all the trim but won't take more than a day to do.

Update:

Sopers have the kit for £128, but I have spoken with my Indy before buying it:

Basically he says he can fit it providing there's no programming/coding involved. He said some kits have a wire that connects to the ECU and its basically a 'plug and play'. He has retro fitted many cruise controls on VAGs and Audis.

So just double checking with you guys that there is no programming/coding required?

No coding just plug in the wires and you are good to go

Thanks James - I'm just putting together the instructions for my Indy: I've copied all the pics from the initial link you sent and then just added the extra pic that corrects the error in the N52 retro-instructions :)
So I will send him all the colour pics plus BMW's retro-instruction manual.

well that explains why the dealers think it needs coding, but I know for a fact it did not on my prefacelift an everyone who has posted on the forum about fitting to a facelift model said no coding was needed
 
That's just to update the Vehicle Order. Works without it. Make sure they disconnect the battery until all assembled. I managed to blow a fuse fitting mine when I put the blue cable straight into the pin without the black repair cable added on.
 
With regard to N52 error in the Retrofit-instructions is this the page, and if so what is the specific error?

The instructions above should work as you're joining straight to the module and it's less fiddly. Can try it that way first but people seem to have had issue.
