Retrofit aux with multi media box

Had anyone bought and fitted one of these. Instead of just having an aux cable this gives you USB and sd card. And when installing this we can you still use the cd player?

You will loose the cd changer, as it uses those connections

Is it possible to get a splitter so you can use the cd and aux as well? So I'm guessing there's only one connection behind the head unit?

Not that I'm aware of, but if you've got your music on a computer just get a big sd card an there's all your music in the car an just update the card whenever you buy a cd

Ok that sounds good, thinking of getting one of these had anyone tried them and kno not I'll fit on the z4. It says compatible with bmw z3 but not z4. And what pins would I need flat or round?
