Retro Fit Navigation - Anyone tried one of these?

Anyone tried one of the above units? Is there much involved in fitting it in?

That is just a single din unit with a z4 specific adapter. Quite a few on here have fitted this type of head unit.

If going for this type of head unit get one running Android preferably the latest version, as apposed to windows ce

Yes it is. Not to mention, it would cover the center vents. I would venture to say that an iphone/android would be better anyway. I used one of these for the mount as mine came with an after market head unit and had the blank spaces on the side to mount it to:

As I had the empty spaces on either side, I bought the mount with the sticky back instead of the suction cup. It gives a ton of movement and viewing angle. The magnet is very strong and the backing plate you put on the phone is super thin.
