I have foggy foglamp syndrome But just had a call from ELMS BMW Cambridge and after a few phone calls on my part they have agreed to replace them under warranty Persistance pays off as initially they said no Just need to book it in now

Did you buy the car from them or are they doing it as a call back type scheme..?

Its just mine are a bit foggy but I bought the car privately..

Good one.

When I bought mine 2 years ago I knew about the issue and asked the garage to dry them out. They managed to completely destroy them so I had brand new ones fitted at the time of purchase which cost them another £180 after we'd shaken........

Very lucky to get them done. I managed it but just within the initial 3 year warranty.

before i replaced my bumper mine (at 2 years old) never had any misting.... i have seen a few other 08's without misting.. is it just luck, or did they actual attempt at fixing this in later versions?

The dealer i bought it from is doing the repair. It did take a few phone calls from me chasing and moaning at them to get it done. I also had to remind them that the Z was the second car i had bought from them in just over twelve months. I think nag nag nag payed off
