Restoring leather seats

Hi all. So I just bought my self an 03 Z4 and the leather needs some restoration. Cleaning and detailing will come first but my side bolster is a bit worn so I found this to restore the leather. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFXkraC9B7o

Has anyone ever tried the products from this company and this method. If its not good what are my other options? Also what leather moisturiser do you guys recommend.

Never used this product but he makes the repair look easy, and I'm sure it would work. My only concern would be the matching of the colour (unless its black) and I can't think of any place that I could cut a piece out of and send to them. Mine is a very light grey leather so the colour match would have to be perfect. Didn't see a price for the kit but if its under £30 go for it and tell us all how you got on with pics. Good luck!
Wasn't over impressed with operator filling his bottles balancing on the car seat to fill them.
AutoGlym cleaner/restorer is probably as good as any.

I use the furniture clinic to repaint any leather I'm doing.

great products, very easy to use and 100% colour match, and long lasting.

their system is colouring the leather as the factory does it I.e. painting it... not some 'restore' product that sits on top of the damaged stuff.

you can get a bit of leather from underneath the seat to send to them... or give the the colour codes of the leather.

I will get a colour code from BMW and I will give it a go. I have black leather in mine. The kit is only £35 and can be found here http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.php#!prettyPhoto

I will do a full write up on this in two weeks time as I plan to spend a couple of days or one full day detailing my car.
