Resetting BMW Professional Radio?

When I was driving home after work today, the display screen only showed Tuner even CD or USB was being used. The problem wasn't fixed after I switched off the engine and removed the key fob, and restarted again.

Did anyone have the same problem before? Is it possible to reset/reboot the unit back to factory setting?
 
I don't have the Professional radio, so can't really help... but on one occasion not long after I got the car, I got in it after after work and there was no sound from any of the radio presets - just a ruffling noise. I initially thought that someone had nicked the antenna. :? Turning radio on/off (you can't really turn it off with the sat nav pro, just mute it) and ignition on/off made no difference, but getting out the car, locking it and waiting 10 mins, then trying again cured it. Not sure what happened, but it has never done it since. :)
 
I assume the electronics are the same as many other BM's and so only after 15 or 20 minutes whne t the system hibernates does it then reboot when you unlock and start again. That would explain why turning off and restarting has no effect, but when you later come back all is well.
