reset service interval date

hi have just reset the service interval ks on my 2007 z4 3.0 si from oil service, to inspection using the normal button pressing proceedure now shows inspection 25,000ks.... but the date has stayed the same with red clock still on any ideas

Two separate counters, you've reset the mileage based one, but the time based one need doing if you changed the brake fluid.
