Hi,

Does anyone have any guides on how to remove the side roundels?

I can see that they are the same type as the front roundel (PN 51147044207), so will have two rear prongs that are secured with two nuts that cut into the prongs and make a thread as they are tightened (this is how the front roundel is secured).

It appears that the whole side panel needs to be removed to get access to the rear nuts that secure the roundel?

Two studs at 3 and 9 o'clock position. You just have to pull it out carefully with plastic trim remover.

Hi Nick, fitting some black carbon ones. Changed the front and rear roundels as well as the wheel centre caps, just didn't want to damage the bodywork replacing the side roundels.

Here's a picture of the rear one fitted, I think it works well with the black sapphire bodywork :)

Looks very very good....what colour are the centre caps? Do you think black ones would look good on a white car? Tempted.....

Never seen that before, but it is worth a try I reckon...

All the roundels fitted have black and silver carbon weave.

The rear roundel was tricky to fit, I have some pictures that need tidying up and will post these up in the next couple of days.

Nick, I think the OEM blue roundels work well with your white Z4, there are some blue carbon roundels available that may work well on your car. I just didn't really like the standard blue roundels with the sapphire black body work and the coral red interior on our car, too many contrasting colours.

I'll post some pictures when the weather improves and add a small write up in the how to section.

Yup, same seller I got mine from - great quality OEM style, but mine didn't have the adhesive on them :(

Maybe e85 ones are different.

The roundels I've used also didn't have the self adhesive backing, they were the correct OEM fitment. This was just the best picture I had of the actual front of the roundel in the carbon finish.
