Replacing headlight lens DIY

First, like all angel eye tutorial, cut along the edge of lens and shell

Pull out 5 tiny nails that secures the lens edge remaining

Use solder iron to melt and take out one part of the lens edge


Cut the sealant along the red line through all the edge few times to make sure all the inner and outer edge of lens are
separated from shell.

Use flat head driver or similar stuff to go underneath to cut and lift up the lens



Repeat and you can pull out all of the remaining lens edge



Clean all RTV sealant, apply ribbon seal, install new lens

I bought from china Taobao, top quality option, cost about 50 USD for a pair of them. I am at Taiwan so shipping fee is not expensive. Lower quality option ones are 40 USD for a pair.
