Replacement key

I've seen there are a lot of posts about this but they're not very clear. Some say you need to remove a module from the car to code a key among other exotic things.

I basically want to know if one of the cheap blanks you can get online like this one https://amzn.eu/d/0UvFd2t
Could be cut by a locksmith and then you can reprogram them yourself simply?

I had one of my keys refurbished and I had to 'recode' it for it to work with my car. That key ultimately was lost when it was sent back as the refurbish didn't fix the unreliable buttons. Can that same process work with these unoriginal keys or not?

You can do it yourself if you have an AK90 programmer. Even with the AK 90 you still need to remove the module so you can reed it and assign the new key.
