Replacement Cup Holder Arm

I found one on ebay last year - didn't have the right tools/couldn't figure out how to fit it, then sold the car (with the arm)...

I think I still have that one here.
I couldn't figure out how to fit it either.
Then sold the car (kept the arm)...

Yup, found it!
If this is the correct item and you can make use of it then PM me your address.
Please note that they appear to be handed.
Just checked with the car and this matches the drivers side.

[ref]GOM[/ref], may be messing you about here. Something made me check the new project car and sure enough the arm is missing.
Going to try to fix it, but if I throw in the towel I'll let you know. Sorry.

Yup, sorry [ref]GOM[/ref], I just took 15 minutes out and managed to fit it.
FWIW, I've read that you have to drill a hole to push the pin through. I removed the small pin holding one side of the lower folding plate in, which allows enough room for the pivot pin to come out. Then I carefully cut off the remaining part of the arm from the pivot pin. Using a pair of pliers and a screwdriver for leverage it was then easy to push the pivot pin out.
The arm has a spring-loaded part on its inner end which acts on a series of teeth to give you adjustment of width. Don't lose that bit or it will only go fully out.

LOL not an issue @enuff_zed, glad you could make use of it.

This looks to be the same one I bought off eBay, however the little section where the spring locates snapped off when I was pushing the retaining pin through it. :(

I am waiting for the seller to contact me so I can get a replacement sent out. But in the meantime wanted to see if anyone on the forum had done any.

Fingers crossed I get it sorted soon, (although I never use it) but it is good to get those little jobs sorted :)

That seems to be the issue I have on my new zed!

PS - judging by your signature, you should make sure your next purchase is anything but Black Sapphire... variety is the spice of life :poke:

Indeed!
Stuart keeps telling me there are other colours, but I keep falling for the cheap common ones. :D
