Replacement BMW keys

Anybody know how much? MC only came with one, knackered old key and I'd like a minter then keep that one as a spare. Bought an eBay key and had it cut but quality doesnt seem great and still leaves me with just one key once internals swapped.
 
I've just been quoted £145 from the dealer.

Going to try repair my duff one first

It would be easier to get my head around if I'd lost it! Frustrating and need two keys so may just bite the BMW branded bullet and order a new one.

Yep - I have one mint key that never gets used for the car- but I'm not content with it as utd on a Soper Keyring and the supplying dealer was John Clark- I like key fob, tax disc and plates to match :headbang:
 
There's an ebay seller who sells bentley style keys fully programmed for your car for a lot less than that. I believe he sells the blade type key too for not much money.
Not sure if he's the one you already used but i think he's called BM Keys. He's posted on this forum.

Ideally want to maintain OEM look but will check it out :thumbsup:
 
I've just bought a brand new key as part of my rebuild project from Soper. £119 all in delivered.. Proper good service. Autologic programmed it. Took Lee 30 seconds. Feels very nice.

I'm the same, Startstone key ring, tax disk hold and plates.. All part of the detail. :D

there is a topic about him on the forum somewhere and he replied in it. he was highly thought of.
I will get one of these when I next go by East London.
