Repair documentation: print, CD, DVD sources?

Hello Z4 friends...

Would you believe I am writing from Spartanburg, USA? My wife and I migrated here in 2007 with her 2003 Z4 2.5 litre. For a number of E30s that we previously owned, the Robert Bentley publisher [Cambridge, Mass.] offered excellent workshop manuals. I haven't been able to find anything even vaguely good in the CD/DVD offerings on FleaBay, and of course Bentley has nothing for the Z4 so far as I can tell. I fear low market share, low sales of the Z4 are working against us here... as we all know, production at Spartanburg was moved elsewhere last year :(

BTW... I used to volunteer as pit crew tech for a pretty good 356 Porsche SCCA racing team... in another life. Any thoughts/help/advice will be much appreciated. All the best for the upcoming Holidays!

Here in the UK we have a series of manuals by "Haynes". I've got no idea how useful it'd be for the Z4, but they've included the Z4 in with their E46 3-series book:

Thanks.... yes, the Haynes guys do a good job. I have their E46 book on order with Rockauto.com here in the US, and will post after reading :)

How about the BMW TIS CD? Some examples here:

There is quite a bit missing on that site but should give you an idea of what the TIS contains.

I bought a copy of the TIS on eBay for around 20 bucks. It's fantastic, although I suspect it wouldn't be so useful to the novice (computer or car) user.
