Whats the best way to remove left over wheel weight sticky pad/residue?
With my new wheels hopefully arriving tomorrow, they're going to be pre-balanced as they have tyres on. I will be changing the tyres so will need to remove the weights before having them re-balanced. The thing is, I know from experience that the foam pads/goo that is left behind is a bugger to remove. Any tips on this? Removing the left over pad/residue from the wheels where the weights were? I'd like to clean the wheels thoroughly, then I have some Planet Polish wheel seal that I'll be putting on before I have the wheels re-balanced when the new tyres go on.
