Removing/swapping bulb from instrument gauges

Advisory given for the light being non-functional 5.4.2... so obviously it's still on their list of advisories.

Passed the emissions test with flying colours despite having the secondary cats replaced with straight through pipes.

Failed on rear brake pipe corrosion which was advised last year but he said it might be advisory next year, or maybe not... clearly not hehe.


My car list is adding up now haha :D
 
Well that gives you breathing space to get the light fixed. Bet it becomes a fail next year as an escalation up from advisory.
 
There isn't a fail possible on the check list. All they do is fail if a light is visible. If it's not on/visible then they can't fail it. All they can do is advise the light is not functioning.

But I want to fix it somehow. The only real viable fix is the pre-facelift m-sport occupancy bits into my facelift m-sports... seems so excessive considering it all actually works and it's just to make a light go off haha :D

All said, I'll have a spare working facelift occupancy sensor to sell on so that isn't so bad.


Main job for now is those rear brake pipes to fix :D
