Removing Roof Protector Treatment

Hi, just wondering what would be the best thing to use to remove roof protector treatment from the soft top?

I have some green/white dirty marks/patches on my roof which I can't seem to clean off, but the water does bead on it which seems like treatment has been applied and 'protecting' the dirt on it too!

Hi, have you tried milton sterilising tablets? A few people on here have had good results using them including me.
They’re cheap as chips as well :P

Thanks for the responses. I could get hold of some Milton sterilising fluid, so I'll give that a try (probably make up some in a trigger bottle for easy application).

Not sure about fluid, I’ve only used the tablets which you drop in water.

I'd agree with that but just have to be a bit careful with solvents dripping all over the paint work etc. I'd suggest Bilt Hamber Surfex HD diluted about 5% with water. https://www.bilthamber.com/surfex-hd

Renovo also do a soft topcleaner as do Autoglym but I have a feeling they won't be powerful enough if the roof has been proofed on top of the mildew.
 
I used Renovo Soft top cleaner this time last year and it worked a treat. My soft top didn’t look too bad but it was like pond water coming off when I rinsed the cleaner off after allowing it to get to work. It cleaned it up brilliantly.
Then I used Renovo ultra proofer afterwards - just paint it on with a brush. Gave me fantastic results that have lasted
