Removable towball needed

Don't panic, it's not for the Z!

I also have a 3 series touring which I use sometimes for work. My brother asked to borrow it to tow a caravan so i smugly removed the current tow hook from it's packaging and tried to fit it - it's the wrong one!

I need a Bosal AK 6 which has the connection that looks like this:

Is this the same toward as used on the BMW x5?

If so I have one. I bought one before I bought the x5 then ending up buying a range rover sport!!
