Remote Window Close and Mirror folding

Had a few issues with the z4 and mainly the dropping and opening of windows (now fixed, MOT'd and actually driven the car for the first time in 7 months ), new battery fitted and coded as believe that was part of the original issue.

But, still cannot close windows with remote and wing mirrors do not fold on lock or unlock (they used to)

Folding mirrors stopped before the big issue with the door windows not working

Testing car, below all work

• Windows drop on open
  comfort open (double click on open when unlocked) for windows to open and close when locked
  Window switches all work
  boot opens on remote
  Roof open operates from remote when holding unlock (windows and doors)
  Roof closes using the button in car and holding down.
  Mirrors fold and open pressing button on drivers door
  Mirror on passenger side moves down when put into reverse
  NFRM & CAS no errors in INPA

Below do not work

• Folding mirrors on remote Open or Close
  Close windows on remote (open does if roof operated)
  auto open mirrors when driving

I know that you need smarttop or equivalent for one touch open and closing of the roof but the mirrors and windows did used to work

My car does not have Comfort Opening (remote open )

Have been carrying out some research online to check coding and their seems to be various differing solutions which none seem to work, appreciate any advise on other areas to check or coding differences

using ncsexpert - selecting CAS then module ie CAS or NFRM etc

I had this issue on my 20i..all was working well then they stopped folding as you said…

I did a reset with Protool by reloading the firmware and then in the options toggling the folding mirrors on…I’m a bit too timid yet to use ncsexpert …

Tried the above no change mirrors not folding in or out with remote and windows not closing with remote

Have you tried restoring the base code and re-coding..I sometimes find that works..did that on my gear selector whereI inadvertantly screwed it up?

CAS : FH_KOMFORTF_MIT_SUBST Was needed
