Remote Key convenience features?

Having just bought my 06 Roadster, :D I was reading the manual like a good little driver. The manual says that you can activate some features from the key. Eg, when changing lane you can activate the correct indicators to flash 3 times without the need to push the indicator stalk all the way up or down. Also you can activate a door autolock feature when 1st lulling off etc..

Does anyone have a list of all the features that are programmable via the key?
Also, I assumed that you can close the roof if you keep the lock button pressed on the key but mine doesn't. Is this the same on yours?

Jess - runs a few searches and you'll find several threads on this subject

Bottom line is the car and each key have a variety of programmable features and they are dependent upon year, model and market.

Contact your dealer and he'll give you a full list of what can be programmed. Charges to do it then seem to vary from £40 upwards.

Indy's with Autologic equipment can also do this and sometimes a few more options at less
 
this has been talked about before...

pretty much dependent on the car and its installed options as to what can be done and what can't. All have to be coded by the dealer or an independent with the relevant equipment.
 
I also have an o6 roadster, I can drop the roof off of the key fob, I have been told that that is standard on all z's ??
While we are on this topic, is it possible to close the roof using the key fob?

Depends on the year and can only be programmed by an Indy.
Aftermarket modules are an alternative solution for the earlier models although Indy equipment is getting better and some an now seem to be able do it for all years

Rain sensor is part of the comfort pack, correct me if i'm wrong but it always comes with auto lights aswell.
