I made the mistake of leaving the top down on my wife's stock 2003 Z4 3.01....just before one of the worst rain storms since the 40 day flood...
Once I finished drying everything out I was left with absolutely no remote control functions on the key, all of the functions inside of the car still work fine.
Can anyone tell me where the remote control receiver is located ?
And since I am here how about the location of the radio RF front end and if possible what component might be suspect... I have miserable radio reception even with the mini antenna...but at least that predated the flood...
