Anyone remapped their 3.0 i have had 5cars done all diesel with fantastic results all by p torque but just wondered about the zed 16bhp and 22lbs torque but can you feel any difference ie thottle response,no flat spots etc.

I'm still trying to get some definitive feedback on Vanos repair. This could get better results than ecu remap?

I had my 2005 3.0i se remapped this year(Powertune),and was quoted 251bhp(an extra 19bhp)plus an extra 25nm torque,for £300.
Dont know about torque, but it made the bhp go up to 257.6(rolling roaded before and after by a friend,at his companies r-rd facility,as a favour, and did 232/257.6,so was very happy.
Its not a massive boost, but not bad from an n/a engine, and it smoothed out the lowdown flatspot.
Pickup from lower in rev range now alot better, and ,with sport button OFF,IT FEELS LIKE THE SPORT BUTTON IS 50% ENGAGED(throttle-respomse wise),if u know what i mean. WITH SPORT BUTTON ON,IT NOW FLIES,due to the throttle response being twice the previous "sport button- mode" settings :) :driving:

Just my opinion, for what its worth, lol

Remapping a naturally aspirated engine will 99% of the time be a waste of time, money and effort. The Z4 is no different I'm afraid.
