Remap or remap box z4 e85 3.0 si manual roadster

Looking for a certified quality remap for flat spots, minor power increase, limiter increase and general driveability. Or a budget plug in box. I understand the limitations of this engine. Z4 e85 3.0 si manual. Just want tried and tested options. Real world reviews and opinions anyone has actually used or actively using currently? Ideally around south East or near West London or so.

I know these might be s**t but maybe not. Any other budget conscious options welcome. Not looking for miracles.

I've driven mapped z4s in the past and they are substantially quicker feeling and more fun to drive.

Not looking for any radical differential upgrades or final drive ratio changes.

Thanks

40+ Bhp increase from a 3.0Si? That’s dream land. It very difficult to squeeze a significant amount of power out this quite highly tuned normally aspirated engine without adding forced induction.

Absolutely don't expect their quoted numbers. But similar to a remap possible yes.

Both of these products are 100% scams

As expected. However there are other products that that do remap well. Jb4 for turboed cars for example. Hopefully someone has successfully remapped with notable improvements either from a box or remap in the 3.0si

Don't buy random boxes off the internet and plug them in to your car. Absolute madness.

You will be lucky to see a peak BHP increase of +10bhp but to be honest you wont even notice that on the road. I had a 3.0si and my mate a 3.0i and gunning it down country roads there really is no difference, and they have a paper peak power difference of 30bhp.

If you want to improve driveability and area under the line (which is what NA remaps are really about) then take it to a reputable tuner and pay by the hour for them to do multiple runs and tweak the settings.

not really. 3.0si is 195kw/310nm is probably the most you can expect without major mods. if you have 3.0i in n52 guise then you can tune from 160 to 195kw with just a tune and a 3 stage manifold upgrade. But that is basically because they are an identical engine.

Know any reputable tuners around London or not far that anyone has used and is somewhat certified from experience?

Someone on facebook is asking the same question. Have decided to remain anonymous though?
Assuming that is not you, then worth following that to see what they come up with.
